The Senior Team at PriceMetrix brings a solid blend of experience to the opportunity at hand. Over the past two decades, the team has worked extensively with investments distributors and manufacturers, and has led change management efforts and revenue growth in a number of industries.
President & CEO
Doug Trott co-founded PriceMetrix in 2000 bringing 18 years of strategy consulting experience in the retail and wholesale financial industries. Under his leadership, PriceMetrix has become the leading provider of scalable practice management solutions for the Wealth Management industry. In his role as President & CEO, Mr. Trott focuses on the business development and growth of PriceMetrix, setting the company’s strategic direction in meeting the evolving needs of North American brokerage and Wealth Management firms.
Prior to PriceMetrix, Mr. Trott founded The Taddingstone Consulting Group, Inc., a boutique strategy firm specializing in the North American Wealth Management industry. Taddingstone conducted over 75 consulting engagements for banks, retail brokerage firms, money managers and mutual funds. Global clients include ING, UBS, JP Morgan, Citigroup and Fidelity. He began his consulting career at Oliver, Wyman & Co., where he rose to become Senior Partner and Country Head for Canada.
Mr. Trott holds an Honors Bachelor of Commerce degree in Economics and Commerce from the University of Toronto and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
Chief Customer Officer
Patrick Kennedy co-founded PriceMetrix in 2000, and currently leads the team responsible for client management and client analytics.
Prior to co-founding PriceMetrix, Patrick was a Senior Consultant with The Taddingstone Consulting Group, Inc., a strategy consulting firm focused exclusively on the financial services industry.
Patrick’s career has spanned 18 years working directly with the wealth management industry, and his experience with data aggregation and analytics give him a unique perspective on retail brokerage practice management.
Patrick has authored and presented several papers, leveraging the unique industry views provided by PriceMetrix data. He has been profiled in OnWallStreet, WealthProfessional and FundFire, and is frequently quoted in the media including InvestmentNews, Forbes, TheStreet.com, and the Wall Street Journal.
Chief Financial Officer
Brent Geddes serves PriceMetrix as Chief Financial Officer. In this role Mr. Geddes oversees all financial related functions of the company, including Operational and corporate finance, contracting and capital management.
Mr. Geddes has years of proven experience performing as financial lead for a variety of technology related organizations. Prior to joining PriceMetrix, Mr. Geddes was the Vice President Finance and CFO for AudienceView Ticketing Corporation, an advanced ticketing services provider to arenas, stadiums, theaters, and other venues worldwide, as well as Vice President Finance for Casero Inc., a leading provider of infrastructure software to broadband service providers; and, Director, Finance for Solect Technology Group, a leading provider of customer care and billing software to internet service providers.
Mr. Geddes holds CMA (Certified Management Accountant) and CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designations.
Vice President, Operations
Chris Skyrme joined PriceMetrix in 2010, and currently serves as Vice President, Operations. In this role, Mr. Skyrme leads the teams responsible for sales management, technical product development and onboarding new clients to the PriceMetrix platform, as well as the information technology group. Mr. Skyrme has created synergies across each of these teams to ensure that our solutions remain stable and secure, while being intuitive and functional for users.
Mr. Skyrme has gained a broad experience in various technology organizations over the past 18 years. Prior to joining PriceMetrix, Mr. Skyrme held senior management positions with responsibilities including Sales, Operations, Professional Services, and Product Marketing as an original employee of AudienceView. Mr. Skyrme also spent two years in London, England as a System Architect for Solect Technology Group focusing on integrating their Customer Care and Billing product into the workflows of major clients such as British Telecom.
Mr. Skyrme holds a degree in Engineering Science from the University of Toronto.
Vice President, Product
James Benum currently serves as the Vice President, Product with overall responsibility for the product strategy and execution. With over 17 years of experience in the enterprise software space covering all lines of business from sales, R&D to professional services at both large and small firms, Mr. Benum brings a diverse perspective to clients and the management team.
Prior to joining PriceMetrix, Mr. Benum was the Product Line Executive at IBM responsible for the Sales Performance Management (SPM) software portfolio within the Business Analytics brand. He led IBM’s SPM portfolio strategy and direction helping clients transform their sales territory, quota and compensation practices. Previously he served as Director of Product Management for Siemens Enterprise Communications focused on delivering solutions for global contact centers in over 60 countries. In addition to IBM and Siemens, Mr. Benum worked in London, UK for divine Inc, a CRM software vendor, in New York for Oracle Consulting, and started his career at RBC DS in Private Client Services.
He holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree in Management Economics in Industry and Finance from the University of Guelph. He is also a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
Manager, Human Resources
Kim Lloyd joined PriceMetrix in 2005 as Manager, Human Resources. In this role, she is responsible for the continued development of staffing & retention strategies, talent management and organizational development of the company.
Ms. Lloyd brings over 15 years of experience in helping early stage companies develop and implement progressive human resources programs and practices. She joined PriceMetrix from Advanced Utility Systems, where she was responsible for the development and implementation of a wide range of HR programs, including the company’s MBO Performance Management and Health & Wellness initiatives. Prior to this, she held a variety of progressive HR positions at Quartet Service Corporation, Algorithmics Inc. and Bain & Company.
