Logical questions we have been asked:

1. How does it work?

PriceMetrix aggregates and "cleans" data from our clients. On a monthly basis we "Household" the data and run it through a proprietary, patented reporting engine to produce predictive business intelligence for Investment Advisors, Branches, Regions and Senior Management; each of whom is set up with access to a personalized internet portal. Assisted by a Client Management Team in the field, and our online practice management tools, we help drive results!

2. What is involved with an implementation?

Implementations are simple! As a hosted solution we do all the heavy lifting. Most of our Clients invest between 40 and 80 hours of their own technical resources supporting our integration efforts.

3. Why are we based out of Toronto?

PriceMetrix was founded by three Canadians living in Toronto and our charter client is Toronto based.

4. Can you assist us with our shift to fee-based business?

Absolutely! Through market (peer) intelligence, Campaigns and predictive identification of clients who may be right targets to "go fee".

5. Why did Doug stop racing Porsches?

The end of Doug's professional racing career began with his new wife Leslie telling him: "I know you are going to do the right thing". Apparently , he then did the wrong thing when during a teaching day, his 1994 RS America 911 met an unsurpassable concrete wall (or two) (turn 10 to be precise) at Mosport in Bowmanville, Canada at 60MPH. The "right thing" to do was to bury the now unrecognizable 911 and replace it with very safe and slow replicas he admires on his desk. Very safe and slow.

6. Can you assist us in redesigning our payout grid and commission schedules?

Yes. Increasingly firms are asking us to conduct these types of projects. In fact, we have completed 12 such projects since 2004.

7. Are we going to have the data you require to implement the PriceMetrix ValueOne Program?

Yes, in order to operate as a broker-dealer, you are required to have the data necessary (except for the "market" or "peer" data, which of course is generated by us).

8. Can individual Investment Advisors purchase the PriceMetrix ValueOne Program?

No. Typically the PriceMetrix ValueOne Program is purchased by the National Sales Manager and/or the firm's CEO.
